We are enabling UK Primary Schools to establish successful international links with schools in the Gambia for mutual benefit & to explore issues which promote community cohesion & global citizenship in a school context.

Who is 3T?

Although newly established, 3T is part of the Optimal Learning Group - an organisation that has worked with over 10,000 UK Primary Schools to strengthen teaching, learning and thinking (www.optimal-learning.net)

Why twin?

Twinning offers the opportunity to enrich the curriculum and school life in many exciting ways and enables schools to meet many of their requirements with regard to community cohesion, pshe, ofsted etc.

What are our aims?

By July 2009, 3T intends to have established clear links between the 369 Gambian Lower Schools and 369 suitable UK Primary Schools.
